G.I.Joe

‘G.I.Joe Extreme’ By Mitchell Smith!

Welcome to Outback’s Outpost. Today I’m going to dive into a short lived toy line, the 1995 G.I.Joe Extreme toy line. When G.I.Joe Extreme hit toy shelves, these were not the Joes we were used to having. We went from some of the best articulated figures to statues. I acquired a lot of these figures a few years back in a collection I bought. These are not something I would normally have bought from retail, but since I have them they do have some collectible value. Some of the characters developed into later characters such as LT. Stone, SGT. Savage, and Inferno.

I’m not 100% sure but I think these were all original characters, original uniforms, and weapons, so there is the original creative ideas that intrigue me most. These do display nice even with little articulation. I wouldn’t place these at the bottom of the barrel, they still look pretty cool. I’m not sure if they have a lot of value to a collector, but I’ll hang onto the ones I have for now. Tomorrow I’m pulling out some 90’s vehicles that will keep you cool on those hot summer days. Drop me a line and let me know what you think about these AFTER THE JUMP!
